The Iditarod
The Iditarod is known as the "Last Great Race." A dog sled race that covers 1000 miles of some of the roughest winter terrain across the state of Alaska. Men women, young and old all participate as equals, for it's the dogs that do the hardest work. This assignment was shot for the New Yorker Magazine for the story "The White Wall" in 2013.
